Strategic Pillars

Community Outreach

Meaningful health improvements begin within communities. Through our Community Outreach pillar, AMAN works alongside families, educators, healthcare providers, community leaders, and development partners to strengthen health literacy, build local capacity, and create lasting change.

AMAN is committed to strengthening communities through inclusive outreach and sustained engagement. We use awareness sessions as a key platform to connect with communities, build partnerships, and advance critical health priorities, including maternal, newborn, and adolescent health, cervical cancer prevention, and HPV vaccination.

Through orientations, workshops, capacity-building activities, advocacy forums, and ongoing awareness sessions, AMAN brings together government institutions, healthcare professionals, educators, and development partners. These platforms promote shared learning, collaboration, and coordinated action to ensure accurate and evidence-based health information reaches women, families, and adolescents.

Recognising schools as trusted community institutions, AMAN works with educators and school communities to create safe spaces for learning, dialogue, and health promotion. By engaging students, teachers, parents, and caregivers, schools become community hubs that strengthen health literacy, encourage positive behaviours, and extend the reach of evidence-based health information beyond the classroom.

Our work extends beyond awareness by empowering teachers, health workers, youth advocates, and local organisations as champions of change within their communities. By strengthening skills, networks, and institutional capacity, we support sustainable, community-led health initiatives that continue long after individual programmes have ended.

Digital innovation also plays an important role in extending access to healthcare. Learn more about AMAN’s digital health initiatives, including telemedicine services, on the Digital Health page.

Together, AMAN’s community engagement, continuous awareness efforts, local capacity building, and cross-sector partnerships are helping build healthier, more resilient communities across Pakistan.
